由国际动画协会主办的第42届“动画安妮奖”提名名单正式公布，包括《六大英雄/超能陆战队》、《驯龙高手2》、《盒子怪》、《乐高大电影》、《海之歌》、《竹取物语》在内的总共八部动画电影获年度最佳动画长片提名。
其中环球旗下焦点影业与莱卡动画工作室共同打造的《盒子怪》获得13项提名，梦工厂的《驯龙高手2》获得10项提名，迪士尼《超能陆战队》与爱尔兰《海之歌》分别获得7项提名。
根据国际动画协会官方公告，第42届安妮奖将于美国时间2015年1月31日举行颁奖典礼，并揭晓获奖名单。以下是第42届动画安妮奖电影类奖项入围名单：
